AT its first meeting this year (2024), Presided over by His Highness the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu, CFR, Zazzau Emirate Council has approved Friday, January 12, 2024 as the Date for the turbanning of New Magajin Garin Zazzau, Baraden Zazzau and Gado Da Masun Zazzau.
The celebrants to be turbanned on the day are Baraden Zazzau Alhaji Mu'azu Nuhu Bamalli who is been elevated to the title of Magajin Garin Zazzau, a Zazzau Emirate Princely title occupied by his Late Brother Ambassador Mansur Nuhu Bamalli who passed away in October, 2023.
Similarly, Alhaji Aliyu Nuhu Bamalli Chief of Staff to the Emir of Zazzau will be turbanned as the new Baraden Zazzau and Alhaji Aminu Musa Hassan will be turbanned as the new Gado Da Masun Zazzau succeeding his Late Father Gado Da Masun Zazzau Alhaji Musa Hassan who passed away in November, 2023.
As approved the turbanning ceremony wil be performed at the Emir's Palace, Zaria immediately after Friday prayers
