Delaying remorse from sins is absolutely unjustifiable in Islam hence the need for people to strive hard to remain devoted to Allah and ensure sincere repentance whenever they commit bad deeds.
The Chief Imam of Sultan Bello Mosque Kaduna, Dr. Muhammad Sulaiman Adam made the call during the sermon of this Friday.
The Chief Imam described the rate at which people nowadays commit heinous sins like stealing, lying and other forms of immoralities with utmost disregard to consequences.
Dr Muhammad Sulaiman Adam explained that every soul must be held accountable to his deeds in the hereafter which will be a yardstick to eternal salvation or otherwise stressing the need for Muslims from committing crimes capable of invoking the wrath of Allah on them.
Imam Sulaiman Adam called on Muslims to redouble efforts in their act of worship that will take them closer to Almighty Allah and avoid cheating one another.
He said every human being must be conscious of the fact that the purpose of his creation in this world is to serve Allah stressing the importance of repentance every time.
The Chief Imam urged Muslims to display the true spirit of togetherness in their daily interactions by pardoning one another as Islam is a family that unites people irrespective of their differences.
