Distribution of school materials to public primary schools in Jaba LGA.


 The Administrator, Jaba LGC,Mrs. Nita Byack George flagged off the distribution of school materials at the Local Education Authority, Kwoi for onward distribution to public primary schools in the LGA.

The school items which comprises of chalks,* *notebooks*, *admission registers,* *attendance registers,* *logbook* *lesson plan books*, *visitor's books*, *whiteboard makers,* *mats* *suggestion boxes*,*and storytelling books* were provided by the Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (KAD-SUBEB). While the *drinking water tanks* were courtesy of the federal government.

The Administrator in her keynote address, appreciated Governor Uba Sani and the Chairman of Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (KAD-SUBEB), as well as their development partners for placing high premium on the education of the children, while reiterating the LGC unweivering commitments towards complementing their efforts.

While applauding the Education Secretary, Dr. Joshua Danjuma and his team for their diligence and dedication to duty, she however tasked them for fairness and even distribution of the items. 

The Education Secretary in turn, commended the council administrator for always being accessible and handy to provide them with the necessary logistics needed for optimal performance, making reference to the recent support given by the administrator to enable them conveyed the materials from Kaduna down to their office in Kwoi.

He equally acknowledged and appreciated the level of professionalism being demonstrated by the council administrator as she has been given them a free hand to run their affairs without any form of inference.

He therefore stressed that the overwhelming supports and confidence reposed on them by the Nita led administration has been the major boost behind the recent reforms and successes recorded in the primary education, while pledging sustained efforts in reciprocation of this trust bestowed on him and his body of staff.
