In an effort to addressed health challenges facing people in the rural communities, the world health organization has introduced a way of getting report for outbreak of child killer diseases in Kajuru local Government area of kaduna state.
Our Correspondent reports that the Local Government facilitator in Kajuru, Mrs Joy Egah said the initiatives will focus attention on training the informants that will be sending report to the health body for prompt action.
The new initiative introduced by the world health organization is part of its effort of ensuring healthy society especially among children whose faces serious challenges in the rural areas.
The Local Government facilitator in Kajuru, Mrs Joy Egah Explained that the New Initiative will surely enhance the health condition of the children.
Mrs Joy Egah Charged the participants to dedicate themselves to their job so as to address issues of child killer diseases in their respective places of assignment.
Updating the participants on how best they can handle the job, a consultant with the World Health Organisation WHO in charge of Kajuru Dr Adebayo Fashola, Deases surveillance and notification officer in Kajuru, Malam Haruna Magaji highlighted the importance of the new initiative by the WHO.
They said it is very important for the world health organization to take proactive measures in tackling Child Killer diseases especially in the rural areas that has no access to healthcare services.
Speaking in an interview after the training, some of the participants from Rimau and Kallah wards, Aisha Yusuf and Philip Bitrus expressed their readiness to work tirelessly in addressing all health challenges confronting the area.
After the training, it is expected that the participants will be sending first hand report to the right authority on the outbreak of any child killer disease in their various places of work.
